Epolleo is a nonprofit biodiversity platform dedicated to preserving microbial diversity through ethical data stewardship, open-access science, and community-powered discovery. Our mission focuses on supporting biodiversity research by collecting, validating, and archiving microbial samples from diverse ecosystems. We link education, conservation, and innovation through a secure, transparent digital platform that emphasizes biodiversity education. By empowering students, researchers, and citizen scientists to contribute microbial data, we foster a global ecosystem of collaboration that drives advancements in agriculture, health, environmental resilience, and sustainable technologies. Through serialized Diversity Credits, Epolleo ensures traceability, equitable access, and long-term scientific value of each contribution, facilitating environmental innovation funding. We believe that microbes are foundational to life on Earth and that their preservation and responsible exploration are essential to addressing today’s and tomorrow’s most pressing challenges, all while promoting sustainable science education programs.
